Chatty Cafe

Come along every Thursday 11am to 12:30pm for our Chatty Cafe. We offer free tea, coffee, biscuits & a very warm welcome. The Chatty Cafe is a national scheme focusing on tackling loneliness and isolation.

Charity Quiz Night- The Alzheimer's Society

We would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported our Christmas Charity Quiz- from the generous donations of raffle prizes to attending and pitting your wits against our quiz master, what an incredible turnout! We raised an amazing £650 for The Alzheimer's Society, a charity very close to our hearts. Thank you again.

Race Night - Air Ambulance

We would just like to thank all of our wonderful customers who came and supported our first race night. We managed to raise an amazing £630 for East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Local events, music, delicious pizza and a warm welcome. The new publicans have revived this community meeting place.

Large selection of local and otherwise beer and spirits. Great meals, at good prices, all made on-site using mostly local produce. Very inclusive and community spirited. All welcome. Lovely dog corner with biscuits, water and bowls, even blankets! Lovely beer garden. Including covered outdoor bbq area. Well-used games room. Entertainment. Naomi and staff are really friendly. They cope well no matter how many customers they have in the pub. Customers always feel welcome. It's a lovely village pub.

The owners of this pub are fantastic - their customers are their priority. They have so much fun and the pizzas are the best! Good beer selection too with glasses to match and they also have fun activities too like markets, bands, dancing...definitely gets my vote.

A shining example of village inclusion. You will find the local football team at the weekend , the locals supporting charity events and quiz nights and everybody who visits enjoys the gardens. The pool table , the darts board and that’s not talking about the drink or food on offer.

A friendly, warm welcome and a real village local. The landlords are really community minded and support local village groups and initiatives by hosting events. Since taking on the pub in March 2022 they have introduced good pub food on Fridays , Saturday and Sunday. Their homemade pizza is excellent. Drinks are very reasonably priced. The fortnightly Quiz night is great fun and there’s also live music some weekends. All round great pub.
